Clinician Update: Crystal B. Peairs, DC

On November 16th, 2020, Dr. Crystal Peairs sustained an injury to her right knee that resulted in emergency surgery a few days later. The great news is her surgeon states the surgery went well and she will fully recover.

However, the first stage of healing requires 6 weeks in a straight leg brace on crutches (non-weight bearing). After that, there will likely be 4-10 more weeks of rehab before she can resume adjusting clients on a regular basis.

As the founder and head clinician of Lafayette Square Chiropractic Centre, Dr. Peairs asked us to assure each of you that we have an amazing clinical team who will continue to provide excellent care to you during her recovery. Your health has always been and remains our top priority.

In addition, we will do our best to limit disruptions to your scheduled care plan related to this unexpected emergency. We do ask for, and greatly appreciate, your patience as we work thru logistical matters at this challenging time.

Our intern Michael is still actively adjusting clients in the practice (as he has been for some time). He will continue doing so under licensed supervision. In addition, we have temporarily hired a friend and trusted colleague with 20+ years of chiropractic experience (named Dr. Greg) who will be adjusting clients during Dr. Crystal's recovery. Furthermore, our exam doctor (Dr. Veronica), will continue to assist with new and established client exams.

We understand you may have questions or concerns regarding these temporary changes. If so, please feel free to call or text our Patient Care Coordinator (April Peairs) directly on her work cell: 314.517.5507

If any changes need to be made to your specific care schedule you will be contacted directly by a member of our team, otherwise, we will see you at your next scheduled visit!
